Auburn University has named Shali Zhang as dean of libraries, effective February 19, 2019. Zhang currently serves as dean of libraries and professor at the University of Montana.
Zhang will succeed Bonnie MacEwan, who retired April 1, 2018 (see page 14 of PDF), after serving as dean of libraries for almost 13 years. Nancy Noe has served as interim dean of libraries since April 2, 2018.
