Plan to Submit a Proposal for ARL IDEAL 2024: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives Conference, July 15–17, in Toronto

IDEAL Conference: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & ArchivesPlan to submit a proposal and join us for the next Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives (IDEAL) Conference, to be held July 15–17, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The theme for ARL IDEAL 2024 is Sustainable Resistance and Restoration in Global Communities.

Previously known as the National Diversity in Libraries Conference (NDLC), ARL IDEAL raises awareness and appreciation of workplace diversity issues through the exploration of theory and practice in the libraries and archives.

ARL IDEAL 2024 will be co-hosted by Carleton University, McMaster University, University of Ottawa, Queen’s University,  University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Waterloo, Western University, and York University.

The call for proposals will open in early August 2023.

Registration will open in early 2024.
