The US Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) has released its 2014 Annual Report (PDF), which presents the federal agency’s accomplishments during the year. The report reviews the impact of the grants IMLS supported and also highlights special initiatives including:
- three strategic meetings with library leaders to discuss “desired impact of federal funding on libraries;”
- conducting a hearing on broadband connectivity;
- partnership activities; and
- the 20th-anniversary celebration for the National Medal for Museum and Library Services.
