The University of Ottawa has named Joan Cavanagh as interim university librarian, effective July 1, 2018.
Cavanagh, associate university librarian for learning and user services, will be interim university librarian while the university conducts a search for a successor to Leslie Weir, who stepped down as university librarian after leading the library for 15 years.
