DEI Institute Description

ARL Institutes are designed to meet the needs of member representatives, senior leaders, and the broader community for a concentrated period on timely topics.

The ARL Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Institute aims to increase the capacity of participants to effect positive change with and within their respective communities through the acquisition and application of specific knowledge, awareness, and skills related to DEI, organizational development, and leadership. This work is currently made possible through the generous support of an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program implementation grant (RE-254925-OLS-23).

Express Interest in Hosting

To express interest, provide the information requested in the EOI form by 11:59 p.m. Hawaii-Aleutian standard time (UTC−10:00) on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. EOIs should include a brief description of your interest in hosting as well as what unique experiences may be offered with your institution as a host. See the EOI form for host selection notes.
