ARL will host a Library Assessment Forum at the upcoming American Library Association (ALA) Midwinter Meeting in Chicago. Come to hear the latest about strategic links between library and institutional assessment activities from the participants in the March and November sessions of the “Leading a Strategic Assessment Program in a Research Library” seminars ARL offered in 2014. An upcoming seminar is scheduled to take place in May 2015. An update on the Value Scorecard and LibValue work will also be included in the forum. The forum is open to all who are interested and no registration is necessary to attend. Please note the location of this meeting has been changed as of December 18, 2014, to the Hotel Palomar.

The Library Assessment Forum features the latest happenings in this area and brings people together in between the biennial Library Assessment Conference: Building Effective, Sustainable, Practical Assessment. The conference goal is to build and further a vibrant library assessment community by bringing together interested practitioners and researchers who have responsibility or interest in the broad field of library assessment. Our goal is to foster an energetic community that is deeply committed to improving our libraries and documenting our contributions to individual and institutional success.
