Harnessing the Power of maDMSPs: Where Are We Now and Piloting the Future
Thursday, November 2, 2023 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the California Digital Library (CDL) are seeking institutional teams to pilot the integration or creation of prototypes and workflows for machine-actionable data management and sharing plans (maDMSPs). Machine-actionable DMSPs facilitate reporting on the intentions and outcomes of a research project that enable information exchange across interested parties and systems. maDMSPs contain an inventory of key information about a project and its outputs (not just data), with a change history that stakeholders can query for updated information about the project over its lifetime.
This webinar will share updates on the present state of maDMSPs and opportunities for institutions to participate in piloting new features. Please register to attend this session to be held Wednesday, November 2, at 1:00–2:00 p.m. EDT.
