ARL has released a video of Jonathan Band, PLLC, Technology Law and Policy, discussing the case, Authors Guild v. HathiTrust. Band provides an in-depth review of the issues in the case and the timeline of how the case moved through the District Court and the Court of Appeals. He also presents the implications of the 2014 ruling for libraries as well as opportunities for libraries based on the ruling’s findings.
