Member institutions of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) are invited to submit expressions of interest to host ARL Learning + DEI cohort program events in 2024–2026. Opportunities include hosting Leadership and Career Development Program (LCDP) site visits, Leadership Fellows Program site visits, and Kaleidoscope Program site visits and Leadership Symposium.

The Expressions of Interest Fact Sheet outlines the details and expectations for hosting each opportunity. Hosting opportunities include two LCDP site visits; four Leadership Fellows Program site visits; one three-year commitment for the annual Kaleidoscope Program site visit, and two Leadership Symposia.

Selection

The ARL Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and ARL Learning Network Committee will review host site applications and select host site institutions considering the following criteria:

  • Institutional diversity
    • Geography & region
    • Institution type
    • Institution size
  • Articulation of distinct and impactful learning experiences

Selection of host sites will comply with ARL Policy C.2: Site Selection for In-Person Association Meetings, Programs, and Events (Member Resources login required).

Apply

ARL member institution employees interested in having their institution serve as a host site—with the support of the institution’s ARL member representative—are invited to complete this expression-of-interest form by 11:59 p.m. Hawaii–Aleutian time (UTC–10:00) on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
