Medical libraries have many services and infrastructure that uniquely support the clinical and health science needs of faculty, students, and community members. Medical libraries are evolving their offerings in ways that complement and extend allied work in central libraries and other library units, including developing new research support services, data management (including informatics), assessment of research impact, and public engagement and outreach. This peer to peer session will be structured as informal discussion and information sharing on current and proposed ideas for better integrating medical libraries into organization-wide research and learning initiatives.
