Signifying the crucial importance of publication and data repositories and the metadata registries that support their discovery and interoperability, Dryad, LA Referencia, and the Research Organization Registry (ROR) were selected as targets for the fourth round of crowdfunding from the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS). Please join the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL), the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN), and SCOSS for a one-hour webinar focused on these critical open infrastructures for science and scholarship, the services they provide, and the sustainability issues they face.

In this panel discussion, you will have a chance to hear from SCOSS Board representatives regarding the SCOSS vetting process, and hear from representatives of the three infrastructures introducing their organizations and their paths towards sustainability. Moderators will explore plans to use the funds raised through the SCOSS campaign and their plans for the future. There will be time for questions from the audience during a Q&A session.

Participants will learn how to support SCOSS-selected infrastructures individually or through their regional or national consortia. Each infrastructure handles the actual transfer of funds.

Participez au webinaire d’une heure organisé par l’Association of Research Libraries (ARL), l’Association des bibliothèques de recherche du Canada (ABRC), le Réseau canadien de documentation pour la recherche (RCDR) et la SCOSS sur les infrastructures ouvertes essentielles pour la science et la recherche, les services qu’elles fournissent et les enjeux de durabilité auxquels elles sont confrontées.

Durant cette table ronde, vous aurez l’occasion d’entendre des représentants du conseil d’administration de la SCOSS au sujet du processus d’approbation de cette dernière, ainsi que des représentants des trois infrastructures qui vous présenteront leur organisation et leurs démarches vers la durabilité. Les modérateurs aborderont les plans d’utilisation des fonds collectés par la campagne de la SCOSS et les projets pour l’avenir. Le public aura le temps de poser des questions lors d’une séance à cet effet.

Les participants apprendront comment soutenir les infrastructures sélectionnées par la SCOSS soit par leur propre établissement soit par leurs consortiums régionaux ou nationaux. Chaque infrastructure se charge du transfert effectif des fonds.
