Washington University in St. Louis has named Leland Deeds interim vice provost and university librarian, effective May 1. Deeds is associate university librarian for Collections Management & Access Services at Washington University.
Deeds will serve in this interim role while Washington University searches for a successor to Denise Stephens, who will complete her tenure as vice provost and university librarian on May 14. Stephens will begin her new appointment as dean of libraries at The University of Oklahoma on May 24.
