The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) appointed Karen J. Colley interim university librarian and dean of libraries, effective August 1, 2020. Colley is dean of the UIC Graduate College.
Colley will serve in this interim role while UIC searches for a successor to Mary Case, who retired on July 31, 2020, after leading the libraries since 2004.
