The P2L Summit

P2L4, the fourth meeting of press directors and librarians with reporting relationships, will be held on Wednesday, July 22, via Zoom. This year’s event will be open to ARL and AUPresses members (registration required).
The day will be composed of three 90-minute sessions that explore topical themes of shared interest between university presses and libraries. From the macro-level of large-scale open infrastructure initiatives to the micro-level of individual connections between press and library staff to advance digital scholarship, the day will focus on how scholars are embracing digital technologies in their research and publishing practices and how presses and libraries can be stronger if they work together to support the ambitions of these knowledge creators. Each session includes short presentations, break-out discussions, and a focus on next steps for the P2L partnership.
