The latest installment in the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) series highlighting digital scholarship work at ARL member libraries features the University of Oregon (UO).
The UO profile, written by ARL director of research and strategic initiatives, Elizabeth Waraksa, presents an overview of the Digital Scholarship Center (DSC). The profile describes the DSC’s staffing, partnerships, services, successes, challenges, and opportunities.
Three projects are spotlighted in the UO profile: The March, an exhibition exploring the documentary by UO alumnus James Blue about the 1963 March on Washington; Red Thread, a digital scholarship collaboration tracing the material history of the color red; and Time OnLine, a project presenting a variety of historical timelines and other tools for visualizing history in a new interactive format.
