Talking So Faculty Will Listen, Listening So Faculty Will Talk: Engagement Strategies for Library Liaisons

This free panel presentation and workshop, featuring practitioners from both inside and outside the library profession and hosted by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) at the American Library Association (ALA) 2017 Annual Conference in Chicago, will explore communications methods and tools that ARL library liaisons and their supervisors can use to engage more deeply with faculty.

The techniques covered in this event will help you: better understand faculty members’ individual workflow challenges, develop meaningful professional relationships with faculty, and connect faculty with library services that can save them time and advance their goals.
