Documenting Ferguson
What does it take to build diverse and inclusive library environments that contribute to social justice? What intercultural competencies should librarians and information professionals develop to ensure organizational equity? What steps can be taken to make certain that collections, records, cultural heritage materials, and research are diverse and inclusive?
The 2016 ARL Fall Forum addressed these questions through a day of reflection and interactive engagement. More than 100 senior leaders from ARL member libraries spent the day building skills needed to develop polycultural environments.
