We Want You! Applying for a Position in a Federal Library or Archive

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work for a federal library or archive? Do you find the application process intimidating and confusing? Did you know that there are federal library and archives employment opportunities outside of Washington, DC?
This webcast—to be hosted by the ARL Diversity and Leadership programs on Tuesday, November 18—will explore employment opportunities in federal agencies and discuss the advantages of and challenges faced by new professionals. Presenters will provide tips about how to track open positions in federal agencies, and how to craft an effective application profile, cover letter, and résumé.
